Business Transfers: As LowReg continues to develop its business, it might sell or transfer all or some of its business or assets, or create a separate business, and customer information generally would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company or be shared or transferred in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, receivership, or pledging of assets. Also, information about our users, including customer information, may also need to be disclosed in connection with a commercial transaction seeking financing, investment, support or funding. Should any of the above occur, your consent will always be sought re contact data.
You may opt in or out of marketing communications from us by contacting us or opting in/out from the opt in/out link in any marketing email we send to you. Marketing opt in and out is seperate to our terms of service that will require us to contact you about service renewals. Any customer not wishing to be contacted at all will have to move their services to a new provider. As your domain registration agreement is also with Nominet, we have no conrtol over any communications they send you. All emails must be verified after ordering a service and joining lowreg, if we are not able to validate, your domain maybe released to Nomiminet and you will have to manage it directy with them.
We endevour to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") software, which encrypts the information you input on the web site. Please bear in mind however, that these methods of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage that is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You can further help to ensure your security by taking a few simple precautions. For instance, it is important to protect against unauthorised access to your computer and to any lowreg username and password, and to be sure to sign off when you are finished using a shared computer.
You must be 18 years old to register for any service at LowReg, we do not knowingly collect and use information from anyone under this age.
We may disclose your personal information to a third party if we are under a duty to do so in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply any contract between us or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LowReg, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
